Mother Earth- Vacation Part 2

Time flies so fast and few more months and the brothers will have their christmas vacation. I need to adjust my work schedule to ensure that I make the most out of the days when the two boys are home.

Planning a vacation is one task that I do not really enjoy. I would rather get in touch with Philippine Hotel Reservations and choose among their suggestions  best place to go.

Last year, among all the vacation package that PHR sent me, I decided to bring the boys( the brothers and the hubby) to Davao. Yup. I chose Davao vacation over Singapore and Hongkong !.

We flew via Cebu Pacific
I love it when the gang are together enjoying mother earth and the Philippines is so much blessed with beautiful beaches. If you want to commune with nature, Philippines is the country to go to!

the boat ride going to Samal Island where Pearl Farm is located
The first thing we saw were the rows of beautiful nipa huts.
Love how the nipa huts are surrounded by the tall trees

The Brothers taking their refreshments while playing chess
the ride going to our hut
So excited to start the day but we needed to check on where we would be staying..
the way to our hut

This was one of the many Mandaya Houses. Mandaya Houses are deluxe bungalows situated among the palm trees around the south end of the resort. Each bungalow has a small private garden and its own porch with a view of the pool.

there were two beds in the room. The Husband decided to just relax on the bed for a while
The Brothers immediately went out and saw the pool beside our hut.

so convenient! see the swing for every hut?
other pool!
They could not resist...
An infinity pool
It was so touching seeing the Big Brother taking care of the bunso

The Brothers were also happy to find out that there was a game room which was near our hut.

the Brothers seriously playing here

Another game..
There was a billiard table where the three boys had a blast playing together.

We had dinner at the Maranao Restaurant.
from the website of Pearl Farm

The Restaurant at night when we had dinner
Had to take a picture here, there were performers to delight everyone
And then the show begun
love the costume
The girls ready to dance
love the headress
and then the food was served..

The gang thoroughly enjoyed the meal...

Before we left, husband and I had to perform too!

More pictures to end  Day 1
The Big Boys
The Small Brother

It always warm my heart when I see the brothers enjoying each other's company. You can see it in their big wide smiles when they are together.
Back to Back
Then it was time to wait for our ride to go back to our room.
lambingan with bunso

the road to our nipa hut
it was like living in a far away province - the Mandaya House at nightime
the king size bed
The Mandaya House    was spacious. The sliding wooden door is an entry to a  big powder/ bathroom
Big Brother slept in the single bed
The next day, an electric powered vehicle brought the gang to the Maranao restaurant to take our breakfast.

And then the swimming begun again...
the bothers wearing identical swimming trunks
Little Brother relaxing..
Then it was time to join them..
starfish!
After a while it was time to take refreshments at the parola bar.

And the big brother had his first taste of wine. Good thing he had it with the husband.
First Time!
Here the brothers played chess again.

Some more pictures for Day 2

Some more..
And another..
Bunso

And then it was time to explore the area some more..

The family thoroughly enjoyed the Pearl Farm stay that it  was sad leaving the place. We vowed to return.
Before flying  back to Manila, the husband ensured that we visited a Davao church. It is unfortunate that I failed to check on the church we went to.

The Big Brother almost the same height already with the Husband!
5'7 at 14 years old.
It was a successful bonding trip. Next Destination- Boracay.
