Beginning

I am back! And this time, I will be a consistent, faithful, loyal story teller. The busyness of the many roles I play has put Bits & Pieces on the sidelines and this is definitely not good but a new year has just begun and so is me and my story telling...

And so this January, let the  storytelling begins..

Evia Daanghari

Daanghari in Las Pinas which is actually near the border of Molino Bacoor is becoming a place to go to for a leisurely coffee, read a book while watching the kids play, do some stress free grocery tasks and much more. Yes. There is one place along Daanghari that I can laze around, take my book while sip my hot cappucino and just enjoy everything that surrounds me.
If I want to buy plenty ( of whatever), SM is the place to go. However, if I do not want to get tired but still do some errunds ( grocery, pay bills, etc) then I go to EVIA.
This weekend, I brought mom and pop together with sister and her kids for a leisurely breakfast/ grocery/ coffee talk= bonding at EVIA.

There are two coffee shops in Evia. Starbucks and Coffee Bean.Coffee Bean in Evia has a country/rustic theme.

I love that unlike other coffee shops, Coffee Bean offers a variety of menu to choose from- from cookies to bread , pasta to salad.
Pastries and cakes
This branch is a feast to anyone's eyes. Aside from taking your breakfast meal, one can also buy from a selection of teas being sold at the coffee shop

This is a must coffee destination at EVIA.

To each her own

This place was not crowded at all. Another place to go for some serious blogging.Haha

Another look down pose

EVIA is still a community mall in progress but definitely I see so much potential to how it will look like in a year or so.

Serenitea is already open too.

Other famous food establishments are still being constructed but there are other places that one can go to.

After some lazing around , it was time to go some grocery tasks. Off we went to Rustans Fresh.

Beside the supermarket is the Bread Talk
At the lower basement of Evia houses Ace Hardware and some other shops.

Barbershop
There is also a new salon to try!

And a skincare clinic.

Shabby chic/ cath kidson type of furnitures

And a pet shop too

There is also a dry cleaner shop

If your clothes need some alteration, you wil find a shop for this concern.

The Basement has still soon to open shops.
Meawhile, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a hotel like restroom at the EVIA Basement!
My nephew had to try the soft couch inside the restroom.

Notice the dainty wallpaper?
Evia is a lifestle center and I am positive that in the very near future, this place will be an alternative to those who wishes to do some shopping and just laze around for insanely busy people without the hustle of noise and traffic.

Heaven and Eggs

Eggs can be cooked a thousand ways. Egg benedict, scrambled egg, boiled egg, suny side egg, poached egg and more. I realized that an egg is an equalizer too. Anyone can buy eggs!
Anyway, I am talking about eggs because I realized that a breakfast meal usually goes with an egg!
From www.foodtrippings.com
The Big brother loves Jollibee breakfast meal. And he especially orders any jollibee breakfast meal with an extra egg.

On a Sunday morning, the gang went to Glorietta Makati to take our breakfast-for a change. The boys ( big brother, little brother and H) were disappointed not to find a Jollibee  store near the mall serving breakfast. Big brother needed his breakfast with eggs. And so we were pleasantly suprised to find Heaven and Eggs . This cozy restaurant is located at the ground floor of Glorietta 4 Makati.
The interior was a mixture of eclectic and shabby chic.

coffee and me

Coffee can be taken anywhere but when i feel that there are so many things to do for the day, i want to start the 'to do' lists by going to a hotel near my home- the Bellevue.

Hotels charm me.Hotels allow me to get the much needed respite from being a busy bee.

Bellevue is located in North Bridgeway, FIlinvest City Alabang Muntinlupa. It is just a few minutes away from home o it is very convenient to just drop by for a leisurely lunch or just laze around while taking my cup of hot cappucino.

And so since I got my day off today, I decided to drop by at Bellevue. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the corner of the hotel lobby  was transformed into a coffee shop which they named, Pastry Corner.

The Pastry Corner is a haven for those ensaymada lover. There were a variety of ensaymada flavours  to choose- malolos - with red egg, ube , cinammon and leche flan.

As always, I had my capucino and I tried the malolos ensaymada. Super yummy!
Ensaymada and cappucino, another perfect combination
The bread was soft and the cheese and salty egg were an added bonus to the haven flavoured ensaymada.
See the salted egg topping?
Since the coffee shop was a new addition to the hotel's 'to go to', had to take some more pictures.
I love the black and white wall mural
I felt so much ready to tackle the day after a date with my happy self.
Good thing the barista was gracious enough to capture 'happiness'

There are so many things that God created that we need to appreciate every single day...
God is in the big and small details.
Find time to appreciate...

"I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.
